Band 7 Clinical Improvement Lead Integrated Medicine and Patient Flow
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Improvement Lead to be appointed within the Division.
The posts will work closely with the Divisional Director of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, Matrons, Divisional Governance Lead and Ward Managers, in this role you will have the opportunity to support/lead improvement in a number of key areas including:
Upskilling our workforce ensuring confidence & competence
Managing The Deteriorating Patient
- Pressure ulcers in the Trust Collaborative
- Falls
- MCA/DoLS/Learning Disabilities & Mental Health Safeguarding
- Infection Prevention
- Nutrition and hydration
Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience of having worked as a Band 7 and shown a commitment to improving patient care
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead, and support the development and delivery of systems, processes and education to promote continuous improvement in quality and service delivery, with an emphasis on reducing harm, improving patient experience and enhancing efficiency.
- Develop effective networks with PD teams to influence practice and policy both internal and external to division.
- Network extensively divisionally, corporately and trust-wide to share best practice, and develop key contacts to facilitate partnership working and multi professional care delivery through collaborative practice.
