Blackpool Teaching Hospitals are looking for a highly motivated and committed Band 6 physio to work within an integrated neighbourhood team. We require an enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude, who has the ability to work within our friendly team putting high quality patient care first.
The successful candidate will be linked to Torentum Neighbourhood Team but will be apart of a wider Community Therapy Team covering Fleetwood and WIN neighbourhoods. The role will include timely interventions, treatment plans and risk assessments. Commitment to undertake ongoing in-service training and development is essential. Main duties of the job
There is a dedicated team of therapy staff who benefit from robust and well structure peer and 1:1 supervision. You also have the support of Far North Neighbourhood, Wyre Enhanced Primary Care Team Leader and the Senior therapists. Regular in-service training and supervision is provided, and we would expect the post holder to take an active role in both, with responsibility for the specific supervision of unqualified staff. You would hold an extensive caseload of routine and complex cases with responsibility for the assessment and treatment and delegation to other members of the team as appropriate.
The team is fully integrated,and we are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff with the flexibility for working with a wide range of conditions and situations. An excellent ability to communicate at the appropriate level, verbally and in writing, with colleagues, senior clinicians, carers, patients, and other stakeholders is essential. You must be both methodical and organised with skills in working under pressure, as part of a multi- professional and agency team and at times working in isolation.
The successful candidate must be able to undertake cross boundary working and manage a caseload.
