Job summary
This is a Fixed Term post for 12 MonthsAssisting the Accounts Receivable Supervisor in the day to day running of the Accounts Receivable Team who are responsible for the prompt billing of amounts due to the Trust, and the recovery of outstanding debt in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and financial procedures. The post holder will also assist in the NHS agreement of balances process.
Working within our Accounts Receivable Team you will be responsible for the raising and collecting of monies owed to both the the Trust and Atlas BFW Management Ltd.
Main duties of the job
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Assist the Accounts Receivable Supervisor under the guidance of the Treasury Services Accountant - ensuring regular departmental meetings are performed including the setting of targets.2. Responsible for the prompt billing of amounts due to the Trust, and the recovery of outstanding debt in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), Standing Financial Instructions, and financial procedures.3. Communication internally within the Finance and other Trust Departments and externally with NHS and non-NHS customers.4. Significant VDU data input and prolonged concentration required, with a good working knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook.5. Data analysis of departmental throughput including reporting to relevant committees
