Job summary
Operating Department Practitioner Degree (ODP) Apprenticeship.
We have a new and exciting full-time training role starting in September 2023 as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) Apprentice.
This appointment will have a fully funded Degree and additionally be paid at Band 2.
We are looking for enthusiastic people to join the theatre team. The training will involve a 3-year university programme with clinical placements based in General Theatres at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
On completion of the course, you will hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Operating Department Practice.
The applicant should meet the University academic admission criteria and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the Operating Department Practitioner's role.
The post holder must be willing and able to undertake the necessary training required to complete the course

Other essential criteria are as follows:
Prepared to undertake any relevant training to facilitate University course.
- Be able to commit to fully attending the academic block and modules required
