MATERNITY RECRUITMENT EVENT.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for passionate and committed maternity support workers, to join our perinatal team at the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.
We have roles available in our inpatient areas which include delivery suite, midwifery lead unit, postnatal and antenatal wards as well as roles in our community settings.
Main duties of the job
Applicants will be expected to work independently whilst remaining under the supervision of midwives. this will include breastfeeding support, phlebotomy, providing care for new mothers and their babies during the postnatal period, supporting midwives , undertaking neonatal bloods spot test and performing weight checks for babies. you will also be required to work with electronic maternity records and be responsible for clinical stock and equipment.
