Job summary

Are you a motivated and flexible individual looking for an innovative and rewarding role as a pharmacy technician within primary care?

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen in Your Health Partnership Primary Care Network for a pharmacy technician to join our integrated Medicines Management Team.

Main duties of the job

To work under the supervision of the Lead Pharmacist and Senior Clinical Pharmacists to ensure the safe, accurate and timely supply of prescribed medication to patients.
To provide technical and administrative support to the Clinical Pharmacists and Clinicians.
To support the primary care team with queries around medication from patients; including face to face and telephone support to patients, primary and community staff.

Recognises priorities when problem solving and identifies deviations from the normal pattern and is able to refer to seniors or GPs when appropriate

Qualifications

BTEC / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in pharmacy services
Completed or willing to enrol on to start 18-month training pathway (e.g. Primary Care Pharmacy Educational Pathway or Medicines Optimisation in Care Homes)

Desirable

Pharmacy Clinical Services Professional diploma (BTEC level 4) or other relevant qualification

Knowledge

Essential
