Job summary
We are looking to recruit 2 full time Advanced Cardiac Physiologists within our CRM, Arrhythmia and Interventional Cardiology teams. They should hold full BHRS or equivalent accreditation.
The post would also suit an experienced Specialist Cardiac Physiologist who is looking to further develop their CRM, Arrhythmia and Interventional Cardiology skills. Support will be given to achieve accreditation. Salary would be adjusted dependent on qualifications and experience.
This is a permanent post. Applicants will need to demonstrate proven competency in CRM, Arrhythmia and Interventional Cardiology.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of this post are to work independently with a high level of skill and autonomy at an advanced level performing basic and complex device implants and follow up clinics (F2F and remote), perform a technical role during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures which includes participating in the 24/7 on-call team, perform tilt tests and Exercise tolerance tests. About us
This is an exciting time to join our team, as we are expanding and improving our services. We are currently a dual site department, City and Sandwell hospitals. Our third site, the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, will be opening in 2024, providing three catheter labs and bringing together all acute services onto one site.
We have weekly review and teaching meetings attended by one or more consultants, registrars, cardiac physiologists and junior staff. All physiologists are encouraged to attend relevant course/meetings, as continued professional development is important to our team and post-graduate exams are actively encouraged.
