Job summary
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, innovative and progressive junior doctor to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology team . The appointee will cover obstetrics and gynaecology at City Hospital, Birmingham and Sandwell General Hospital during the on call. Applications are welcomed from candidates with who are on the registered on the General Medical Councils. It is preferable to have a candidate who has prior experience in UK and has got required competency to work as the senior registrar in our team.
This Job is for fixed term of 12 months starting as soon as possible.

Main duties of the job
The post will enable the successful applicant to develop Obstetrics and Gynaecology interests to complement the existing consultant staff. The person appointed will work in 1:8 on call rota for the Junior doctors. The post holder will work in 1:8 weekend on calls and nights along with the senior and junior registrar. The post holder will be given the training opportunities like a ST 5-ST7 trainees in Obstetrics and gynaecology.. Opportunities to complete the ATSMs or support in completing the CESR work will be done.
