Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered Learning Disbaility Nurse to work closely with the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Adult team to support service users that live with a learning diabilty or autism.

The post holder will support the Adult Safegfuarding and Vulnerability Lead to improve services and patient journeys.

Main duties of the job

The sucessful candidate will support the Safeguarding and Vulnrable Adult Lead to develop a competent and confident work force whom understand the importance of statute duties, including mental capacity, advocacy and reasonable adjustments.

The post holder will support the development of policy and procedures. Embed learning identified in statute and non statute reviews including LeDeR. Support audit and evidence of service improvement.

  • Proven track record of effectively managing staff.
  • An effective trainer

  • RNLD or Allied Health professional or social work/care qualification to degree/ post graduate level
  • Teaching and assessing qualification
