Job summary

The catering department at Sandwell Hospital is looking to recruit a part time experienced Catering Assistant working relief in the central wash-up, Main Kitchen and retail within the main catering department

Duties include using a flight dishwasher, cleaning duties, deep cleaning and completion of control paperwork, working on a barista coffee machine, handling money and serving customers

Applicants must have previous catering experience with high standards of work, be an outgoing, hard-working and enthusiastic individual that is able to work on their own initiative.

Post is working relief between the hours of 06.00am and 14.00pm, Monday to Sunday

Applicants are required to be flexible in their approach to hours and duties and able to work additional shifts as and when required.

Main duties of the job

To carry out a wide range of general catering duties in an efficient and effective manner to ensure that a high quality service is provided at all times. This post has a significant amount of personal contact with Staff, Patients and Members of the Public.
