Job summary
The Switchboard/Informatics Department are looking for 2 x 15 hour per week Switchboard Operators. Working times 5pm -10pm over a 7 day working week to join the existing team in providing a Telephony service across 3 main Hospital sites.
This is a challenging, interesting and rewarding post that would suit a flexible individual available to work a variety of shifts over a 7 day period and also at short notice to cover periods of absence, which may include working a night shift.
Main duties of the job
Ideally you should be experienced but consideration will be given to applicants who have the necessary aptitude and IT skills to undertake the role.
The role require good customer service skills together with knowledge of IT applications.
You should be computer literate and be confident working under pressure in a busy environment. You will need to demonstrate your ability to work to protocol and procedures. You will be self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own as well as a team player.
As one of the focal points a courteous helpful telephone manner and excellent communication skills are essential.
