Job summary
Ward Service department based at Sandwell General Hospital currently have part time positions available for people who would like to work in a busy healthcare setting and are willing to work hard to help make the patient stay a safe one by maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
These positions involve cleaning of wards, departments and general areas. We also provide breakfast, lunch and supper meal services to in-patients
Main duties of the job
The main duties are cleaning wards, departments and general areas to a high standard. This includes cleaning of sanitary areas i.e bathroom and W/C's. The use of industrial cleaning machines i.e scrubber dryers and floor polishers etc.
Ward Services also provide food and beverage services to in-patients.
Full training will be given but a minimum of 1 years cleaning experience is required. Previous catering experience is desirable.
