Job summary

We are looking for a reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic Assistant Audiologist to work in our busy Audiology department.

Audiology provides hearing and balance service to both Adults and children.

Assistant Audiologists support qualified Audiologists and help with minor repairs to hearing aids and earmoulds

Teamworking and flexibility are essential for the role.

The post will be based at Hearing Services Centre City Hospital but the post holder will be required to cover any of other sites that within North Birmingham and Sandwell.

Main duties of the job

To work as part of the admin team within the service which may include:

Reception duties

Dealing with telephone queries

Processing referrals and booking appointments

Answering queries through the generic email for the department

Stock control

To work alongside Audiologists assisting with hearing aid repairs
