Job summary
We have a clinical lead opportunities for an enthusiastic & motivated registered nurse to join the District Nursing serviceWe have posts available across the service.
The District Nursing team is part of the Integrated Care Services (iCares) directorate within Sandwell & West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust.Experience of working within a community setting is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the District Nurse Team leader to manage the whole caseload as well as undertaking more complex case reviews.
As a Clinical Lead you will be expected to coordinate and oversee activities of the clinical team members to ensure compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high-quality clinical care for our patients.
We are looking for a candidate with leadership qualities who will excel at line manager responsibilities, including Sickness review meetings, keeping Health Roster up to date, work allocation, audits, processing clinical incidents and clinical supervision of the junior staff.
We are looking to recruit a nurse who is committed to delivering high standards of care, be able to work as a team player and have the confidence to work independently.
Main duties of the job
To work as part of the district nursing team giving expert clinical advice and demonstrating leadership and specialist knowledge delivering nursing care.
To supervise and be a role model to staff working closely with the team leader
The job holder will as part of their role be responsible for supervising a team of nurses helping them to learn and develop community nursing skills.
They will provide nursing care within a Community setting to people in their own homes across Sandwell & West Birmingham.
A professional and approachable attention to work and staff is required.
