Main duties of the job

What you'll do

  • Coordinate clinics, book appointments and produce letters
  • Process referrals and maintain accurate, confidential records
  • Manage generic inboxes and respond to internal/external queries
  • Act as first point of contact for complex admin questions
  • Escalate issues to keep the service running smoothly
  • Use RiO to transfer patients and manage caseloads
  • Attend meetings and record clear action notes
  • Work on a varied daily rota

Support & Leadership

  • Provide daily support and supervision to Band 2 admin staff
  • Deliver responsive admin support to clinical teams, senior management and the Business Administration Coordinator, including ad-hoc tasks and projects
