Main duties of the job
What you'll do
- Coordinate clinics, book appointments and produce letters
- Process referrals and maintain accurate, confidential records
- Manage generic inboxes and respond to internal/external queries
- Act as first point of contact for complex admin questions
- Escalate issues to keep the service running smoothly
- Use RiO to transfer patients and manage caseloads
- Attend meetings and record clear action notes
- Work on a varied daily rota
Support & Leadership
- Provide daily support and supervision to Band 2 admin staff
- Deliver responsive admin support to clinical teams, senior management and the Business Administration Coordinator, including ad-hoc tasks and projects
