Main duties of the job
- Complete the daily shift plan in the agreed time scale, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in line with new NHS Cleaning Guidelines.
- Cleaning is carried out in accordance with recognised approved Trust methods/procedures.
- To participate in the Cleanliness in Hospitals Programme.
- To complete departmental performance monitoring weekly, to achieve and maintain the Trust standard.
- To ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with the Trust waste disposal policy, assuring Health and Safetystandards are adhered to.
