The Kent and Medway Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) services are stand-alone, holistic multidisciplinary teams which provide a distinct care pathway including assessment and treatment to people aged 14 to 65 who are suspected of having a first episode of psychosis (FEP).
The post holder will need to participate in the assessment and Duty function of the service which is East Kent wide.
The post holder may be required to support all EIP localities to meet the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job
- Providing service users recovery-focused mental health interventions
- Providing service users practical support with daily living
- Facilitating service users to live fulfilling lives
- Helping service users to access resources in the community
- Supporting the physical health monitoring of patients via phlebotomy and ECGs.
- To assist the duty team in the assessment of new referrals.
- Supporting service users with budgeting, housing and employment issues
- Supporting service users to engage in leisure activities

- Competent in using the RiO system
