Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialty Doctor to join the Maidstone Community Mental Health Team based at Albion Place Medical Centre, 23-29 Albion Place, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 5TS.

Main duties of the job
- To provide psychiatric care to patients referred to the Maidstone CMHT.
- To provide medical input to the Maidstone CMHT Team.
- To ensure effective liaison occurs between mental health services and the acute hospital, and also with other agencies in the voluntary and statutory sectors as appropriate.
- The post holder undertakes, exceptionally, to perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.

- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
Desirable
- MRCPsych OR a specialist qualification from an EU country that complies with EU directive 2005/36/EU
ELIGIBILITY

- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.

- In good standing with GMC with respect to warnings and conditions on practice.
- Approved under S12 OR able to achieve with 6 months of appointment
