Promoting Safe Services Clinical In-Reach and Training Manager

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Promoting Safe Services (PSS) Team for a Clinical In-Reach and Training Manager.

As part of the Promoting Safe Services (PSS) management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the training team to ensure delivery of essential, high-quality training programmes designed toprevent and safely manage behaviours that challenge within clinical services.

There will be a focus onexpanding the delivery of PSS training to external agencies which will require the post holder to developpositive working relationships with external partners.

Main duties of the job

  • The post holder will be required to demonstrate thatthey are able to uphold KMPT Trust values at all times, representing the organisation in a number of externalforums.
  • The post holder will work clinically with MDT teams supporting individual patients that present with dysregulated, distressed and harmful behaviours through a positive behaviour framework.
  • There will be a focus on reducing restrictive practices whilst providing expert advice, practical leadership and coaching on strategiesthat can enhance the lives of the people we support.

The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
