About the Role:
To be responsible for investigating and resolving all stages of complaints in a fair and impartial manner. With a sound understanding of the regulatory timescales and deadlines associated with complex complaint resolution, you will be required to take case ownership and conduct a comprehensive investigation using all available information and documentation. Duties extend to dealing with all cases that are referred to the Housing Ombudsman Service. Ultimately there should be a focus on resolving complaints fairly and providing a high-level customer experience.
This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 20% to be spent on site in Aylesford, in line with current hybrid working policy.

Main duties of the job
Investigations
- Act as the case investigator and liaise with the commissioning manager to gather the detail for the issues/concerns raised
- Work autonomously as an independent and impartial practitioner
- Work with the Employee Relations Team
- Work with the Employee Relations Manager to ensure robust mechanisms are in place to drive up the quality and speed of case investigations
- Present investigation findings at hearings and employment tribunals as appropriate
Policy and Service Development
- Ensure investigation guidance, templates and tools remain up to date
- Support the development and delivery of the Trust investigation processes
- Responsibility for embedding consistent methodologies and approaches conducting investigations.
