Main duties of the job

About the Role

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's recovery journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Unit Manager in the smooth operation of the unit and leading shifts.
  • Conducting specialist assessments and collaborating with clients to define achievable rehabilitation goals.
  • Acting as a named nurse for a designated caseload, developing and implementing person-centered care plans.
  • Promoting effective treatment through the safe management and administration of medication.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Mental Health Act, Safeguarding frameworks, and clinical documentation (adherence to legal and ethical guidelines)
  • Administer and dispense medication (medication management)
  • Deliver effective and quality patient care (focusing on patient well-being)
  • Demonstrate good mental health assessment and intervention skills (diagnosis and treatment planning)
  • Have a good knowledge of physical health monitoring and documentation (monitoring both mental and physical health)
  • Risk management and patient safety (ensuring a safe environment for patients
