Job summary

As Project Support Coordinator, you will streamline and manage team business processes and enable the provision of effective administration support to ensure projects are delivered in the most effective and efficient way.

You will coordinate and support team members in the application of new project management technology, manage a caseload of projects, and support Project Managers.

Main duties of the job

As this is maternity cover, you will need to be able to pick things up quickly and work well autonomously as this post is hybrid and involves a large amount of home working

  • Work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Maintain appropriate systems to enable effective planning and scheduling of project activities.
  • Maintain the project documentation library, ensuring version control and naming conventions are adhered to.
  • Assist with the maintenance of project controls, keeping the project manager aware of the project status.
  • Present statistics and research new information.
  • Manage professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and act as a point of contact for some external and internal parties.
  • Assist with monitoring project spend and contribute to the compilation of budgets.
  • Assist with effective communication between projects and the business.
  • Maintain central project records and assist with the production of project documentation.
  • Assist with the identification and management of risks and issues.
  • Setup project board/steering group meetings.
  • Liaise with suppliers to organise demonstrations.
