Job summary
Providing efficient and comprehensive administration support to the Multi Disciplinary Team.
You will need to be a team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to prioritise your workload and work to agreed timescales. You will be required to have a flexible approach to your work with a professional attitude and be willing to travel across Kent.
Main duties of the job
In this role, your time will be split between providing administration service to the Patient Flow Team across sites including the following duties: diary management, fielding emails and telephone calls, organising virtual files, dealing with correspondence, minuting meetings, accessing patient records, typing letters and notes. The second part of the role would be supporting the bed manager as a call handler. This involves taking referrals from other health care professionals and passing the referral to bed manager for bed requests, so good record keeping is essential to the role. The role has a great deal of variety and flexibility.
The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of MS Office applications i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, and previous administrative experience including minute taking and ideally typing/word processing skills.
Although the base is advertised as Maidstone/Dartford, this can be negotiable.
