Job summary

If the answer is yes, we have a Healthcare Worker vacancy at Heather ward Inpatient Unit in St Martins Canterbury . The ward itself has recently undertaken a full refurb so is a modern and up to date working environment.

Main duties of the job

The unit specialises in the assessment and treatment of older adults with both functional and organic mental health issues. Heather ward is a 15 bedded unit based at St Martins Hospital in Canterbury. The Healthcare Worker is a key member of the multidisciplinary care team and will have continuing responsibility to:- Deliver an effective and competent level of care under the guidance and supervision of the associate workers, senior associate workers, qualified nurses and occupational therapists, determined by the patient's plan of care.- Be fully aware of the needs of patients over a 24 hour span of care.
