Job summary

This new role is a permanent vacancy that will support and provide the EDI team and Health and Wellbeing Lead with all aspects of event/conference planning including internal and external events, provide support to the EDI staff networks as well as providing administration duties to EDI team and HWB lead.

The EDI and HWB Administration Coordinator will undertake a range of administration and clerical tasks to ensure that the administrative aspects of delivering the EDI Strategy and HWB Strategy run smoothly as well as providing administration support to the staff networks and Health and Wellbeing Group, ensuring plans are updated and implemented.

This role comes with development opportunities that will enhance existing skills.

Main duties of the job

To support the EDI Team and HWB Lead by providing all administrative duties including:

Planning event details such as venues, agenda, speakers, target audience, advertising campaign, payment methods (where applicable).

Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure key events are promoted utilising other pre-planned events and special days to maximise on potential attendance and engagement with staff.

Ensure information relating to events are clearly communicated to Executive Team and Trust Chair.

Managing and overseeing events on the day, including problem solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff and organising speakers.

  • Educated to NVQ Level 3 in Administration
