In 2016, we introduced an initiative to improve our expertise with inpatient wards and provide a true patient centred approach, embracing the therapeutic approach to care in our inpatient services.

An opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Apprentice to join South West Kent Community Mental Health Service for Older People, providing an efficient and comprehensive administration support within the admin team.

Main duties of the job

About the Role

The above post has become available within KMPT for a dynamic, self-motivated, forward thinking administration apprentice. The post will be within Sevenoaks Community Mental Health Teams.

The post holder will study Customer Service Level 2.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and keyboard skills, be a competent typist, possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, pay attention to detail, be able to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing/challenging situations. You will be required to use the RIO software package and training will be provided.

Prior to interview you will be required to undertake a typing test, a numeracy and literacy test as well as a written Trust Values Exercise
