Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate professional to join our Eating Disorder Team in Wakefield CAMHS!
This is a Band 5-6 development role, which offers a supportive pathway to develop into a Band 6 Practitioner!
This vacancy is 30 hours.
The multi-disciplinary team is made up of Psychiatrists, Clinical Lead, Dieticians, Family Therapist and Mental Health Practitioners. The team provide assessment, treatment and ongoing support for children, young people and their families with eating disorders. It is a community-based role and you would be expected to offer intervention in a range of environments, general hospitals, community bases and home environments.
The team are based at Airedale Health Centre but offer intervention in other community bases and venues across the Wakefield locality. The working hours of the team are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Main duties of the job
The main duties in the role include:
Supporting with assessments within clinic settings.
Offering home visits.
Delivering evidence-based interventions.
Working collaboratively with families, schools and other professionals.
Support crisis and risk management.
Contributing to formulations and care planning.
Offering meal support visits.
Visa sponsorship under the Health and Care Worker visa route can only be considered if the prorated salary meets the minimum threshold of £25,000, as required by the UK Visas and Immigration. Therefore, sponsorship may not be possible depending on salary increment placement and working hours.
