Are you a qualified occupational health nurse advisor with proven experience in an occupational health setting, ready to make a real impact in a progressive, nurse-led service? We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our innovative occupational health team, where your clinical expertise and leadership skills will directly influence how we support staff across South West Yorkshire Partnership Teaching Trust and our partner Trusts.
What youll be doing
In this role, you will be entrusted with a high degree of autonomy and professional responsibility. You will:
- Complete complex management referral assessments.
- Undertake pre-employment assessments, helping ensure a safe and supportive start for new staff.
- Provide specialist and expert guidance through our clinician helpline.
- Take an active role in service development, shaping processes and pathways.
- Contribute to clinical governance, ensuring that high standards are maintained across our service.
- Mentor and support colleagues, championing best practice within our dynamic nurse-led department.
All employees of the Trust are strongly encouraged to have their up-to-date flu vaccination to protect staff and patients.
Main duties of the job
Your working environment
You'll work as part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team that includes:
- Registered Mental Health Nurses
- Physiotherapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Counsellors
Together, you'll collaborate to deliver a comprehensive and high quality occupational health service. As a clinical leader within the nursing team, you'll help steer decision-making and support strategic growth within a service that is genuinely forward-thinking.
