Are you a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with post-registration experience and a passion for education and developing the clinical workforce. Join our ELOD team to help shape the future of clinical care for people with mental health needs.
As a Clinical Skills Facilitator you'll work together with our current team to design and deliver engaging learning experiences for a variety of staff groups, helping them to develop and integrate physical health care into mental health practice. The role includes:
- Supporting staff through induction, inc the Care Certificate.
- Supporting the Resuscitation Team to build confidence in emergency response skills.
- Deliver training aligned to our Physical Health Strategy, improving essential physical health care skills in mental health settings such as:
- Vital signs monitoring
- Neurological observations
- ECG
- Venepuncture
- Post falls
- Post seizure care
- Long term condition management
- Embedding Clinical record keeping best practice

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will take up a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) within the Learning and Development team based at Fieldhead Hospital, Wakefield. Travel across trust sites will be required, this could involve working evening and weekends, to provide learning opportunities for all staff.
