At Cheswold Park Hospital, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Band 6 Senior Management Accountant to join our friendly, close-knit and supportive team.

It is an exciting time to join us - we are rolling out a finance ledger system, embedding budgets across services and training clinical staff on their responsibilities as budget holders. You will be central to ensuring that the hospital is financially sustainable, producing timely reports and analysis that inform decisions and shape the way services are delivered. As Cheswold Park moves towards business-as-usual, there will be real scope for you to shape and develop your role further.
We are happy to be flexible about working location between our finance offices at Wakefield and Doncaster and we also offer hybrid working.

Main duties of the job
As our Senior Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and senior colleagues on reporting, forecasting, costing, budget setting, planning and expenditure analysis. This role is about people as much as numbers, and your ability to translate complex information into meaningful insights will be key.
The successful applicant will be AAT qualified and working towards a CCAB qualification, with management accounts experience that enables you to work independently and confidently with budget holders.
