37.5 hours per week
This Electrical role is based
at Fieldhead Hospital in Wakefield but covers other health centres in the Wakefield
and surrounding areas that sits under the trust footprint.
The role is maintaining all Electrical
based jobs internally and externally on the buildings.
The work is varied and changes
on a day to day basis in line with service need requirements and prioritisation
of works.
Estates trust vehicles are
utilised for traveling around the footprint of the trust and the successful
candidates skillset may at times need to be used on the Barnsley properties
which includes Kendray hospital which has inpatient mental health units and
Cheswold Park Hospital which is a medium to low secure unit based in Doncaster.
This is an exciting role for
the right candidate that likes a challenge in a very demanding environment.
The successful candidate will
become part of a small team of Electricians who work in with and support other
trades and maintenance assistants in day to day duties.
Reactive works and statutory
PPM are the main duties of this post.

Main duties of the job
Maintain all aspects of Electrical equipment to a high
standard while being aware and respectful of your surroundings.
Carry out repairs and PPM on a daily basis to keep the
buildings safe and compliant to HTMs and all relevant British standards.
To be able to carry out work from drawings provided and
adapt where necessary to overcome problems.

To be part of an on call rota covering emergency
repairs/making safe out of hours.
Be responsible for ordering stock as and when required.
Manage your own work load with the use of a hand held
device while understanding the importance of different SLA times.
Solve electrical problems on complex systems.
Carry out work to the 18th edition Wiring Regs.
At
