South, West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are pleased to announce that we are expanding our Reducing Restrictive Interventions team. This is a progressive post from band 3 to a band 4 RRPI support instructor (depending on experience and qualifications)
We wish to expand our team by appointing a dynamic and motivated individual to work with our Team of Reducing Restrictive Physical Interventions practitioners.
The post holder will have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work within a small team. The post holder must demonstrate the ability to work in collaboration with the wider clinical teams and train staff from various clinical areas and disciplines.

Main duties of the job
The role of the Reducing Restrictive Physical Intervention (RRPI) Instructor is a physically demanding role. Working alongside the training lead and specialist advisers the post holder will be responsible for the effective delivery of all mandatory physical intervention training and its theory components.
The post holder will support the RRPI agenda in designing, implementing, and evaluating physical intervention training programmes and the delivery of said programmes.
The post holder will influence and ensure that the effective development of the accredited training is delivered to a high standard in line with the Restraint Reduction Network.
The post holder will have an excellent working knowledge of contemporary developments within the local, regional, and national agenda for the Reduction of Restrictive Physical Interventions
The postholder will support the RRPI department in representing the Trust in reducing restrictive interventions in upholding the Trust values and ethos.
