CONSULTANT IN FORENSIC PSYCHIATRY

1 year Fixed term, full time, 10 Programmed Activities per week plus on-call

South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Medical team based at Cheswold Park Hospital. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the male medium secure pathway. We are seeking a 10 PA substantive Consultant to join the Medium secure mens service in-patient team due to vacancy following takeover of Cheswold Park Hospital since October 2024. The job entails cover of a 12 bedded male medium secure ward with both Mental illness and Personality disorder service lines and 4 patients on a low secure rehabilitation ward also in the personality disorders service (Calder). This allows for continuation of care with the same RC for a selection of patients in the PD pathway as they move through the hospital on their recovery journeys.

Main duties of the job
