SPECIALTY DOCTOR IN General Adult Community Calderdale Enhanced Team

South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Specialty Doctor to join the Calderdale Lower & Calder valley Enhanced Team based at the Laura Mitchell Centre, Halifax. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the Enhanced Team. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care by providing skilled clinical input, supporting complex assessments, and contributing to robust treatment planning. Working closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist and the wider multidisciplinary team, the post holder will help ensure continuity of care, timely interventions, and safe, effective service delivery. The position offers the opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills, take on meaningful responsibility within the team, and play an important part in improving outcomes.

- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
Desirable
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.

Eligibility
Essential
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment or must have checked GMC eligibility and commenced the application process at the time of NHS jobs application.
- Spent a minimum of four years (full time or equivalent) in postgraduate medical experience in the UK or equivalent medical experience. At least 2 years experience in psychiatry.
Desirable
- In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.
- Experience working in other medical specialties including general medicine, geriatric medicine and A&E.
- Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 to 6 months of appointment.
