Main duties of the job
As Community Mental Health Team Manager, you will lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to adults with complex mental health needs. Youll oversee clinical governance, manage caseloads, support staff supervision, and ensure compliance with service standards and KPIs. Key responsibilities include service planning, risk management, performance monitoring and fostering strong partnerships with external agencies. Success in this role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience of navigating mental health care pathways. Youll be instrumental in driving quality improvement, empowering your team, and ensuring service users receive the support they need to thrive.
Visa sponsorship under the Health and Care Worker visa route can only be considered if the prorated salary meets the minimum threshold of £50,300, as required by the UK Visas and Immigration. For this Band 7 role, only full-time positions at the top of the pay scale meet this threshold. Therefore, sponsorship may not be possible depending on salary increment placement and working hours.
