Do you want a change? Would you like the opportunity to work in a friendly, supportive, well-established fully integrated, Adult Community Mental Health Team? We offer input to adults with complex and diverse mental health needs. We are dedicated to developing trauma-informed principles of care in conjunction with the Trauma Informed PD pathway. We are proud of our varied group programme (including DBT, and Structured Clinical Management). We embrace and offer various psychological approaches: Integrative, CAT, CBT, Compassion Focussed, ACT, Psychoanalytic psychotherapy, MBT, EMDR and Family-Systemic psychotherapy. The role encompasses multi-disciplinary working, service-development, individual therapy, group, supervision and consultation responsibilities. In all, the post offers a wonderfully diverse working role!
Although these are band 8a posts, they are also open to newly qualified psychologists as a band 7 preceptorship.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is flexible and creative in response to service and patient needs and interested in positively influencing systems through promoting psychological ways of working. The role involves various responsibilities, utilising different psychological models. You will work with a range of professionals including psychological therapists, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Advanced Practitioners, Social Workers, Psychiatrists and Occupational Therapists.
There are considerable professional and clinical supervision opportunities. We also strongly encourage the development of clinical interests through CPD. The team is well known for being supportive - encouraging self-care, flexible working, and professional development.
There are also strong links with the University of Leeds Doctoral Training course and the Trust has strong research and clinical outcome links. Audit and evaluation are encouraged and supported across the Trust.
