A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to lead Calderdale CAMHS, as part of the Openminds Partnership. We are recruiting a full time Band 7 Team Manager, with significant post-qualifying skills and experience within CAMHS.

Theteam offers assessment,formulation and intervention to children and adolescents who are experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties.

You will take a strategic lead in maintaining and further developing the service provision in line with Calderdales vision to implement an integrated model of Health and Well being. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality care whilst further shaping the service.

You will receive support from the wider CAMHS operational management structure. We offer excellent training and personal development opportunities. You will be provided with supportive supervision to aid development within the role.

Please note the working pattern is 37.5 hours per week however we do offer flexible working.

Main duties of the job

You willprovide visible and accessible clinical and managerial leadership across the service and have direct management and leadership responsibilities working in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team.

You will have accountability for the delivery of highly specialised clinical services with a focus on ensuring the delivery of quality evidence-based intervention and effective outcomes that are reflective of the diverse needs of the Calderdale population.

You will be responsible for the line management of staff, including supervision, undertaking appraisals alongside other HR processes including recruitment, sickness monitoring and e-rostering. You will be an authorised signatory for staff expenses.

You will lead, influence and positively contribute to service development and business planning acting as a conduit for change.

You will have governance responsibilities such as ensuring record keeping standards are met and set, monitor and evaluate service standards to ensure a high quality of care.

You will act as a highly specialised expert resource within the field of CAMHS which may involve some clinical work dependent on service demand and acuity.

  • Masters Level qualification.
