Job summary
We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated Band 3 Health Care Assistant to work with our Community Neurological Specialist Services (Epilepsy and Parkinsons) throughout the Barnsley area.
The successful applicant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside our Specialist Nurses providing community care to neurological patients. The postholder will work across both our adult epilepsy and Parkinsons services supporting patients and their families either in their own home or a clinic setting.
If you possess excellent communication skills, can work flexibly with excellent interpersonal skills, this opportunity could be for you.

Main duties of the job
You will:
Deliver patient centred care to meet the service standards and objectives.
Have the flexibility and skill set to work across community neurological services, supporting patients to live well
Undertake specific tasks as delegated by the Specialist Nurse in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.
Participate in training/education and clinical supervision to develop skills and knowledge, apply continuous reflection on own practice
