Full Time - 37.5 Hours Per Week
We have a new and exciting role for a Band 5 Dietitian to join our busy Community Nutrition and Dietetics Service in Barnsley.
We are keen to hear form newly qualified Dietitians (or those who are nearing the end of their training), in addition to existing Band 5 Dietitians who may wish to flourish in a community setting.
Our team is friendly and welcoming, and we support each other to provide the best nutritional care for the people of Barnsley.
You will need to possess excellent team working, communication, organisation and time management skills, as well as be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development.

Main duties of the job
This role is varied and interesting, providing dietetic advice for adults for a range of conditions in general community clinics, care homes and home visits. The caseload includes nutrition support, some diabetes and gastrointestinal conditions such as IBS.
We are committed to supporting Dietitians throughout clinical placement and part of this role includes participating in the training of student dietitians, for which support will be given if needed.

- To communicate effectively with patients carers, members of the multidisciplinary team and other agencies to achieve patient centred goals.
