An
exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Team Leader to join our Breathe
in the Community service
In
this role, you will provide clinical expertise to develop & enhance the
service, which now includes Virtual Ward for respiratory including crisis
response
You
will provide clinical leadership & take overall day-to-day managerial
responsibility for ensuring the effective delivery of the service
You
will oversee specialist assessments & treatments for patients with a range
of acute & long-standing respiratory conditions, including highly complex
cases
The
role requires self-direction & a high level of skill in communication,
advanced assessment, collaborative working & expertise in clinical
governance/risk management
This role requires flexibility, the
service operates 7 days,
08:00-20:00 the successful applicant will work across a shift pattern,
including weekends & bank holidays
At

& enhance standards of care through supervision of practice, clinical
audits, evidence-based practice, & teaching/mentoring colleagues
act as a source of expertise
working at an advanced level of practice on the management of respiratory
conditions also providing an advisory service, ensuring high standards of care are delivered &
maintained
have an understanding &
ability to follow both national & local policy agenda & able to
translate the commissioning intentions & developments across the Barnsley
locality
possess excellent
communication skills along with ability to motivate & develop staff to
deliver people focused services

- Post graduate qualification relating to respiratory care to Masters or an equivalent level. Nurse Independent Prescriber.
