An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our Operational Helpdesk Team at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust as Helpdesk Operators
The Operational Portering Helpdesk Team provide a helpdesk service that enables wards and departments to access Facilities services. As a Helpdesk Operator you will assign work to our facilities teams using an IT based Task Management System

Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting or helpdesk environment would be desirable, although we will provide you with all the support and training you need to thrive in the role
This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week. Shift pattern is 5 shifts over 7 days with the range of shifts between the hours of 06.00am and 22.00pm

Main duties of the job
As Helpdesk Operator you will work as part of a team providing a helpdesk service for our wards and departments to enable them to access on site Facilities services
The Helpdesk Operator will communicate requests for work via radios effectively and efficiently using the IT based Task Management System
Being the first point of contact for the service you will be courteous and polite to all service users at all times
There may also be a requirement from time to time for the Helpdesk Operator to work within the Portering team
