Job summary
The Asthma Nurse will be the clinical expert and
professional resource to the multi-Professional team, patients, and carers
within their Speciality Service.
This is a new service that The Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust is
delivering.
As a band 6 asthma nurse you will undertake all aspects of
the role using advanced clinical assessment skills and respiratory
evidence-based knowledge. The role will involve hospital-based assessments and
you will be required to work trust wide from any of our 3 hospital sites.
This will be achieved through the core dimensions of the
role, clinical practice, and acting as the patient advocate and through audit
and education.

the organisations objectives and goals
We are looking to appoint highly a motivated Respiratory
Nurse who has a passion for delivering safe, high-quality care to patients in
the acute setting. The successful candidate would gain a wealth of knowledge
and experience surrounding respiratory medicine.
