The Estates Office within the Division of Infrastructure
are looking to recruit to an Estates Support Officer
Working
within a busy Estates function, based predominately at the Dewsbury and
District Hospital site, you will join an already established successful team.
You will be responsible for assisting the Estates Development Teams across a full range of duties in the implementation of Operational works and small Capital works as part of the Trusts Retained Estates Department.
You will have experience of working within an Estates/property department or industry and have previous experience of using AutoCAD and MICAD.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Estates Governance and Compliance Manager the post holder will be accountable for
specifically assigned duties within the Trusts operational works and in year
Capital programmes, including, undertaking surveys and producing reports, support
with feasibility studies, update MICAD and relevant documentation as required,
including drawings, O&M manuals etc.
As well as assisting
the Estates Capital and Operational Team across the full range of their duties.

Job responsibilities
To provide and receive routine information associated
with individual operational works and construction projects and participate in
the design process with fellow colleagues.
To have knowledge of a number of routine
work procedures through on the job instructions from the Estates capital and
operational teams.
To undertake Trust land and property surveys
to validate and update information in AutoCAD and Micad systems.
Responsible for updating and maintaining
data in AutoCAD & Micad Systems.
Responsible for creating, amending and
updating technical drawings in AutoCAD & Micad relating to Trust buildings
and operational maintenance systems.
To create new structural and operational
maintenance assets in the Micad system ensuring the assets are linked to
existing property information.
Add new asset components to existing PPMs
to ensure compliance at all times.
Provide support to the Estates Micad Officer
in populating the IPR module in Micad.
Provide support to estates managers in
populating the Helpdesk/PPM/Reactive module in Micad.
To support the Trusts Scan for Safety Module
by producing and providing barcodes that are linked to Micad systems.
Organise own day to day work tasks or
activities.
Assist the Estates capital and operational
teams in ensuring that capital/operational projects are completed in accordance
with relevant departmental procedures, agreed programmes and budgets and all
Health and Safety checks have been undertaken.
Participate/attend construction design team
meetings to assist with the production of Micad drawings.
To support and undertake when required
surveys, including the measuring and recording of capital and operational
assets.
Support the capital team liaise with clients
when undertaking relevant feasibility studies.
Assist with ensuring feasibilities are
undertaken in line with the Trusts strategic direction when required.
Assist with the production of documents for
financial approval associated with design teams and contractors.
Works within established procedures with
supervision from the estates capital and operational teams.
Undertake adhoc duties as requested by the
estates capital or operational teams.
