This
is a 18-month fixed term contract at MYTT, in which you will be employed as an
ADULT Registered
Nurse Degree Apprentice (RNDA). You will be contracted to work 37.5 hours per
week and will receive an apprenticeship salary.
You
will work as part of a clinical team and have dedicated time to study for a
Bachelors degree in Adult Nursing at the University of Bolton. Whilst you will
be employed to a clinical area you will also experience working across both
internal and external clinical placements to the organisation to gain an
appreciation of the different areas of the local healthcare service and meet
the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) practice learning requirements.
As
an employee of MYTT you will demonstrate our values and behaviours and once you
have successfully completed the programme, you will be offered a Band 5 role as
a Registered Nurse within MYTT.
Main duties of the job
You
are applying for our next ADULT RNDA programme which commences in June
2024 in partnership with University of Bolton.
If
you are successfully shortlisted, you will be invited to attend an assessment
centre and interview week beginning 11th March 2024. If you are
not able to attend the assessment centre we will not be able to proceed with
your application.
You
will also be asked to complete an online Maths and English assessment as part
of the University of Bolton recruitment. Please make sure you have completed
the online assessments before attending to the assessment centre. More details
will be shared once selected for the assessment centre.
You
will be asked to provide original certificates of your Maths and English
qualifications and your Foundation Degree. If you don't have these, you will
not be able to attend the assessment centre.
If
successful and offered a place on the course, you will be fully supported by
the Trust, with paid employment as an apprentice during your studies and Level 6
Course fees paid. Upon successful completion of your studies, you will be
guaranteed a permanent job with the Trust as a Band 5 Registered Nurse
There is eligibility criteria for government funded
apprenticeships which requires the applicant to be aged 16+, be a resident in
the UK/EU for the last three years. Applicants cannot have achieved a
qualification at level 6 or abovein the same pathwayas this will exempt them
from being able to undertake the apprenticeship.
