Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust, for a flexible, enthusiastic and driven individual to join the eRostering Team.
The post holder should be highly organised with a keen eye for detail. They will become a key member of a small but highly motivated and accomplished team, using its expertise to support engagement at all levels of the Trust with the use of HealthRoster and SafeCare systems and associated processes. As part of this team they will be responsible for the day to day provision of comprehensive administrative support to the team and colleagues across the Trust.
This is an additional role within the team, enabling us to expand our capacity in this area.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for providing a flexible and quality administration support to the eRostering Team and eRostering initiative as a whole. They will have a professional approach which is responsive to the needs of internal and external customers, acting as a first point of contact for eRoster related enquiries.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide
system administration ensuring accurate maintenance of data within the
system.
- Completing any other project support and
administrative actions required to support a successful outcome of the project
or any projects associated with use of the eRostering system.
- Maintenance of high-quality data within the system
through data cleansing
- Undertake
appropriate problem solving within areas of responsibility
- Support the eRoster Manager and the eRoster Team as required
- To provide data on an ad-hoc basis as required by the eRostering Team
- To collect and prepare activity data as required including efficiency indicators on roster production, utilisation of staff and performance of the software
- Understand the clinical governance
requirements for all areas to ensure rosters are being planned accordingly as
outlined in the Trust eRoster policy.
- Responsible for the production of reports for Managers and Finance staff on all staff usage against a set of predefined key performance indicators
- To provide general housekeeping duties for the eRostering system ensuring data up to date, analyse data and problem solve
- Deal with routine enquiries that come
into the team on a day to day basis through various medians, i/e phone and
email queries guided by standard operating procedures for the eRostering team
- Provide and receive routine information
which requires tact and persuasiveness, where there maybe barriers to
communication.
- Provide straight forward advice and
instruction to users of the eRostering service
- Ensure live maintenance of rosters once created
- Participate in team meetings as required
- Escalate concerns/issues immediately to line manager
- Ensure information and data remains secure and confidential
- Build and maintain good working relationships and ensure good communication with system users
