Job summary
To work
within the Education Team for the Division of Adult Community Services in
accordance with the team and wider Trust values. This role will support and facilitate the learners
and students across the clinical workforce to identify learning and development
opportunities for maintaining and improving standards of patient care through enhancing
placement experience, education and pastoral support opportunities.
The post
holder will develop skills to support and facilitate training delivered by the
Education Team to improve experience and identify opportunities for maintaining
and improving standards of patient care.
This will include working alongside any learner within the clinical
environment to achieve competence and confidence supporting education and
training to induct and develop their skills, knowledge and confidence.
Main duties of the job
Key requirements include:
To support the Education Team in facilitating
and delivering induction and training programmes for Pre-Registered and
Registered staff
Providing in situ clinical support to
appropriate staff groups to assist in achieving competencies and developing
confidence in their roles.
Provide Pastoral support to learners and new
starters to ensure wellbeing is supported
To support the Practice Educator in student
Capacity Mapping, audits and cost collection
To be accountable for a group of learners within
the Educators allocated areas
Be accountable for the delegated responsibility
for specific workstreams
Provide consitant contributions to the teams
development projects and workstreams
