Job summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the Pinderfields Urology Investigations Unit.

This is a fast paced busy investigations unit, based at Pinderfields with some work with in Pontefract and Dewsbury.

The unit runs clinics from 8:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.

Management element for nursing and CSW staff.

Main duties of the job

Complex catheterisations

SPC and urethral catheter change

Urethral catheter insertions

Flow rate clinics

Teaching ISC

Working along side specialist consultants

Clinical preparation and assisting with procedures

Staff management

Clinic management

Stock ordering and monitor

Running specialist clinics monitoring and planning immuno-therapy and chemotherapy regimes

Registered Adult/General nurse with active NMC registrations

First level (Honours) degree or willing to undertake

Good back ground experience in Urology

Evidence of continued professional development

post registration experience at band 5 in Urology

Multi-professional working
