Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic & hard working Band 5 Physiotherapist to work within our dynamic adult Out-patient Therapy MSK team at Mid Yorks Hospitals NHS Trust.The rotations will include MSK Outpatients, Gym/Hydrotherapy and Rheumatology.
The successful candidates will be expected to work on any of the 3 sites within the Trust
We offer regular in-service training, supervision and peer support for CPD from highly specialised, experienced Physiotherapists and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners within the team.
This role will include opportunities to be involved with service development and inclusion in the Special Interest groups within MSK OP Therapies.
Main duties of the job
To provide physiotherapeutic assessment of MSK patients with a range of clinical presentations, physical and psychological symptoms in a broad variety of settings.
The clinician will provide a differential diagnosis, develop, and deliver an individual treatment programme for this patient.
To provide peer support and supervision and to members of the musculoskeletal team.
To provide clinical education of physiotherapy students on placement.
To manage own workload demonstrating effective time management and organisational skills
