Job summary
Come and join us on our popular and varied Band 5 Occupational Therapy rotation. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and develop skills and knowledge within a supportive environment. The rotation gives experience of work in the following clinical specialities, Rotations will cover our 3 hospital sites (Pinderfields, Pontefract and Dewsbury) and community settings. Trauma / Orthopaedics / Amputees Elderly complex care Respiratory Surgery Intermediate care MY Therapy Team Spinal injuries A & E / acute assessment and frailty Hand Therapy Neurology Burns Children's Therapy Rotations are 6 monthly, rotational members of staff submit choices prior to each rotation. The services cover 7 days, a flexible approach is required to meet the challenges in each clinical speciality where you would be assigned to an experienced clinical practitioner for regular supervision and support as well as working within experienced and well-established teams. We offer preceptorship support throughout your first year of practice.

The successful candidate will work together with colleagues, partners, patients and their families/carers in a broad range of environments.
